Clean Cities, Blue Ocean

The U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Clean Cities, Blue Ocean program invites you to attend a virtual event celebrating the launch of the program’s new Women in Waste’s Economic Empowerment (WWEE) Activity in the Philippines. WWEE aims to empower women working in Metro Manila’s waste and recycling sector, offering access to trainings, a small business incubator program, and a supportive network for increased market access and opportunities.

Watch the event recording.

The virtual program on September 29, 8:00-9:00AM (PHT) will feature:

  • Perspectives from Metro Manila’s women waste collectors
  • More information on the Women in Waste’s Economic Empowerment Activity and opportunities to get involved
  • Panel discussion with WWEE partners
