Brandon Bray serves as a Natural Resources Officer in USAID’s Office of Land and Urban. He works on preventing ocean plastic pollution by implementing sustainable solid waste management, including recycling, in developing countries. Prior to joining USAID, he worked as a Physical Scientist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where he co-led the Agency’s recycling efforts and worked on sustainability issues related to critical minerals, consumer electronics, and plastics.

Educational Background

Mr. Bray holds an M.Sc. in Earth & Planetary Sciences from McGill University, Montreal, QC, Canada and a B.A. in Geology and History from Colgate University, Hamilton, NY, USA.
